The Tweed is an uncluttered, peaceful river with an abundance of bird life, nature reserves and tranquil waterholes.

Or if you prefer, there is an array of shops, galleries, museums, clubs and taverns dotted all along the riverbank, fully accessible by your dingy which is supplied free of charge with the hire of your houseboat.
